Stand Up to the Negligent
Sustaining serious injuries can cause devastating effects on you and your family for the rest of your life. Whether you're recovering from sustaining an injury in the workplace or elsewhere, I will help walk you through the process of pursuing the compensation you deserve. I will fight for your rights and your future against those at fault for your serious injury.
I understand that losing a loved one is never easy. However, when you lose a loved one due to another party's misconduct, it magnifies the tragedy. If you have lost a loved one unjustly, a wrongful death lawsuit can help you find closure. Whether the death occurred because of medical malpractice, medical negligence, or general negligence, I can help evaluate your options and strive to hold the person or entity accountable for your loss.

Testimonials
I would like to take the time to thank William Budigan for allowing me to have a beautiful experience with the law, whether we were dealing with divorce cases, medical malpractice cases or motor accident cases
I went into this internship with no legal background and in the end I would say I’ve gained so much knowledge in the legal field all thanks to working for Bill. I will never forget this internship experience as it was a stepping stone in my career for the legal field.
I worked as a paralegal intern at Budigan Law Firm for one quarter, so I saw day-to-day life at the office. It's clear Bill cares a lot about his clients and gave them the best experience possible in what was likely a very difficult time of their lives.
A solid general practice law firm that can get you your rights back. Interned there briefly and saw many clients defended through hard work and airtight use of facts and statutes. Mr. Budigan always tells it like it is.
Hold Medical Professionals Accountable
When you seek treatment from a doctor, nurse practitioner, nurse, physician’s assistant, EMT, or other medical professionals, you should be able to expect quality care. If a medical professional causes an injury instead of quality care, you have the right to be compensated.

A husband caused damage to the family beach home, which had been awarded to his wife in their divorce (War of Roses). This case became one of the focal points of new WA law requiring insurance companies to cover losses in DV cases, even though one of the insured intentionally did it to the other. It was covered by TV’s "20/20," and I was present for Governor Gregoire signing of the law.
Claim settled for over $100,000The court appointed me GAL to review several years of Trust Account Reports. Because the minor was turning 18, the court needed to determine whether a guardianship was still necessary. I found significant lapses in the reports and money used for the guardian’s personal uses.
Filed a lawsuit against the minor's guardian and the guardian's attorney for failure to report, discover, and halt the misuse of fundsThe Court of Appeals made a new legal precedent: when a father has children with two mothers, and state law says his child support cannot exceed 45% of his net income, child support shall be calculated based on the total number of children — not just what amount of the 45% is left over after the first child support order. This breaks equitable share for support among all children.

Won on appeal for motherDetermining liability or fault during a medical malpractice case can be a challenge. An experienced attorney will obtain and interpret medical records, investigate your case, determine who is at fault, and should compensate you for your injuries and losses. When a person has been seriously injured or has died at the hands of a medical professional, I will fight for justice for them. I will help evaluate and investigate your case in Seattle, Washington, and the neighboring areas of Bellevue, Kent, or King County.
